Rental Policies

Cancellations

The $200 damage deposit is non-refundable within 30 days of the rental date. 
If a cancellation is made between 60-31 days of the rental date, $100 (50%) of the deposit will be returned.
If a cancellation is made 61+ days before the rental date, a full refund will be made.

Rental Rules & Regulations

  1. Broadway Collective shall be rented to adult persons only. The contact person(s) shall be in attendance for the duration of the function.
  2. Booking is not finalized until a $200 deposit is received.  
  3. The Applicant will be responsible for setting up the event space.
  4. The Applicant will clean the event space at the conclusion of the event according to the Rules of Etiquette listed in Schedule “B”. Clean-up not in accordance with this agreement will result in a cleaning charge.
  5. All garbage and recyclables are to be removed from the event space and placed in the garbage bin by the Applicant.
  6. No unauthorized alcohol shall be permitted in the event space.
  7. Consumption of alcohol may be permitted provided the user follows the regulations of the Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Association. A copy of the Special Occasion Permit will be posted in the event space during the event.
  8. Event Insurance will be in the name of the Applicant/User.
  9. Exit doors shall remain unblocked at all times.
  10. No exposed candles may be used.
  11. SMOKING is PROHIBITED anywhere inside the event space.  Any violation will result in a $300 charge.
  12. Use of LIQUID SMOKE, CONFETTI, SPARKLES, and DUCT TAPE inside the event space is PROHIBITED.
  13. The Applicant agrees that the use of the event space beyond the period stated on the application will result in an additional charge to the Applicant.
  14. Broadway Collective accepts no responsibility for any items left in the event space by the Applicant, organization members, or function attendees.
  15. It is understood that the Applicant shall indemnify and hold the Broadway Collective harmless from and against all claims or demands with respect to the use of the event space. Broadway Collective is not responsible for personal injury or damage or for loss of personal items or equipment of the Applicant or anyone attending the Applicant’s event.
  16. ANY DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE MUST BE REPORTED AND WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER AND WILL BE CHARGED AT FULL REPLACEMENT COST.

Rules of Etiquette

We ask that you please review this checklist following usage of the event space to ensure all rules and regulations have been complied with. At the termination of the applicant's use, the area should be surrendered in the same condition of cleanliness and repair as it was upon commencement of use in order to receive the damage deposit refund.
  • Floors have been swept and cleaned. Any spills have been mopped up.
  • The bar area is clean, tidy, and in proper order.
  • All running water has been shut off (including the washrooms).
  • All garbage and recyclables are picked up and taken to the outside garbage bin in the alley (red Loraas bin).
  • Furniture must be cleaned and returned to its original location.
  • Decorations have been removed without any marks or damage to the event space.
  • Bathrooms are clean and in proper order.
  • All lights are shut off (including bathroom lights).
  • All doors to the event space have been properly secured.
